Sometimes it only takes one to make a difference—one person at a time, one day at a time, and one lemonade at a time. The Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Downtown has partnered with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) for the past decade to raise funds for research regarding new treatments and cures for kids.
Selling sweet and tangy lemonade is a classically American way for kids to make some money. For one week every June, associates at the Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Downtown take turns selling cups of lemonade to make a difference for cancer research. This year associates are proud to announce that they raised over $3,000 through their lemonade stand as well as volunteering at their local CBS News Telethon in support of ALSF.
