Tsaghkadzor Marriott Hotel

Tsaghkadzor Marriott Hotel recently hosted some very special guests: students from the local Cook College. The students were welcomed to the property by the Sous Chef and Kitchen Supervisor, who gave them a tour around the kitchen, introduced them to various kitchen equipment, included them in food preparation, and answered all of their questions.

The Cook College offers a three-year course, but it does not have the appropriate equipment and tools for a well-rounded education. Unfortunately, they cannot provide employment after graduation either, so this was just a unique opportunity for students to see what a real chef’s kitchen looks like and what they can strive for.

The kids were excited and inspired by the opportunity and were appreciative of the friendly support by the associates. To top off the great experience, two of the students were invited back to the hotel to take part in a cooking internship.
