During the winter months in South Africa this year, Marriott properties huddled together to create warmth for underprivileged children in the country. More than 20 hotels hosted donation drives for winter clothing, blankets, bedding, and food in support of For the Youth Foundation’s #KeepaChildWarm initiative. The collected items were distributed to the local communities through nonprofits, such as Ons Plek, Rena Le Lona Creative Centre for Children, Heidedal Child Youth Care Centre, and the Yellow Beez Day Care Centre.
